July 3rd at 8pm we checked into the hospital and Alaykah arrived at 5:21am July 4th! 7lbs 7oz and 20 inches long. Everything went extremely smooth and we were thrilled to have our Independence day gal:) Now we are home and settling in as a family as 4 and things couldn't be any better!

(above)Proud daddy with is 4th of July chicka! And the best big brother there ever could be. He is constantly asking to hold and hug and kiss her. I especially love how he says her name, "Yayka Linny Po ber" :)(below)My brother in law AJ came to the hospital and took some pictures of her later that night. We just put a black sheet over the couch, made some head dresses from scrapbook supplies, and played with some props from home . They turned out pretty adorable if you ask me! But I am the momma:) Thanks AJ!!
